ESTABLISHING A HAIR CARE ROUTINE

Creating a hair care routine is all about understanding what your hair wants. Do not go a binge shop of all the hair serums, oils, and products out there!

Things are much simpler than that. No matter what your hair type is, your hair care routine can be composed of a shampoo that cleans without stripping your hair of its natural oils, a conditioner that adds moisture, strength, and manages your hair without adding weight, and a leave-in serum, and a leave-in conditioner to moisturize and protect.

Now, all you have to do is find the right products for you to make your routine as efficient as it can be! There are different products out there, each for a particular hair type and needs. 156 157

But first, consider oil as a pre-shampoo treatment.

To deeply moisturize and condition your strands, massage a small amount of oil into your hair. If you have dry, frizzy hair, this is an especially important practice to incorporate into your daily hair care routine. Oil lubricates the hair's outer cuticle, moisturizes it, and reduces frizz. A light oil massage increases blood circulation, which promotes hair growth. Some oils contain essential nutrients that aid in the prevention of hair loss and graying. Oil is fantastic if you have a dry, itchy scalp. 158 159

5-Step Hair Care Routine for All Hair Types:

Step 1: Use shampoo. 160

It is critical to use a shampoo designed specifically for your hair type when cleansing it. Wash your hair and scalp twice or three times per week with a gentle sulfate-free cleanser. Furthermore, the water's temperature is critical. Make sure the water isn't too cold or too hot, as either will strip the moisture from your hair and cause it to dry out.

Step 2: Apply a conditioner.  161

Conditioning your hair after drying reduces frizz, combats dryness, and makes it much more manageable. Furthermore, because well-conditioned hair does not tangle as much, conditioning aids in the reduction of breakage and the maintenance of healthy hair. Only apply conditioner to the ends of your hair, not the scalp. Allow it to sit for four to five minutes before rinsing with cold water. When you apply conditioner to your scalp, it causes product buildup and causes your hair to become weighed down. It is critical to wash it off with cold water because it aids in cuticle sealing and shine.

Step 3: Apply a leave-in hair serum. 162

Hair serums, like skin serums, contain active ingredients that enter deep into your hair and into your scalp in order to protect and repair your hair.

Step 4: Apply a leave-in conditioner. 163

Protecting your hair is the final but most important step in your daily hair care routine. Our hair suffers a great deal of damage throughout the day as a result of pollution, heat tools, diet, and general lifestyle choices, causing it to appear dull and frizzy. Applying a leave-in conditioner to your hair is a simple and effective in protecting it from this damage. Leave-in conditioners form a protective layer over your strands, keeping them looking sleek and beautiful while shielding them from damage.

Step 5: Repeat!  164

Make this hair care routine a habit to ensure that your hair grows in a healthier and stronger manner. Then, do not forget to enjoy its benefits!

On a final note, identifying a hair care routine that works best for you may take some time. However, you can never go wrong when choosing Regaine® as your hair care product as it includes minoxidil. Minoxidil is used to repair hair and treat hair loss
